My First Dialog: mIRC On-Screen Keyboard

Introduction:
This script is a copy of Microsoft On-Screen Keyboard using mIRC dialogs. Basically... This script is a virtual keyboard so you will not have to use your own. Kinda useles... I know but I had alot of fun making this script.

What I meant for 'macro', was something like:

EDIT:
I did most of the buttons by trial and error... When I was just about finished I stumbled across that DSTUDIO program. Then I used that the position the buttons a bit better than I had it. Basically wha tI am trying to say is that... I did most of the work without that program

You could add like 5 macro buttons and when you click the button

And then under either in it's own menu or one of the ones you have have a
Macro Reset:

Macro 1
Macro 2
Macro all... etc.

Sorry I can't think atm to give a better example. :P

@ Kirby: I did use DSTUDIO to position the buttons better.
Are macros possible? If yes... Can I see a little example script.

But I am curious, ReFuSeR, did you use DSTUDIO to make this?
For the dialog, I think macros (i.e. F2,F3,F4 keys) would be cool.

This

Could be 

did -ra $dname 122 Caps lock ON

For the backspace part you could use something like below.

$remove($did(1),$right($did(1),1))

Example: $remove(testing,$right(testing,1)) = testin

That way it will delete the last letter of the text in the edit box each time it is hit as so long as you start at the end of the text line.

I tried the $chr(32) and that didn't work but the $chr(160) did. Thanks alot tv3636. I added you and Kirby to my credits.

EDIT:
I see... The $chr(160) is a character of somekind... It isn't picked up as a space but it is picked up as a invisible chr of somekind.

if $chr(32) doesn't work you can try $chr(160) as well, I had to use 160 for something because 32 would only do one space in a row. Looks pretty cool, albeit useless as you said. Neat idea though :)

I was actually going to comment on the %irunbrowser and how you can change those until I couldn't save my comment because Hawkee lagged, but I figure you can figure that out yourself.

I haven't actually tested the script out, but I think the reason why the 'space bar' isn't working is because you've put a $null value.
You might want to put $chr(32) instead.

As you can see... The spacebar doesn't work because I didn't figure out a way to get it to create a space. Do you know of a way?

This is very neat, ReFuSeR!
Impressive for your first dialog.

However, you can change some things to make the script work faster and more effectively.

In this case, luckily, you're preforming two similar commands, /did -a $dname 1, only to change the two values, q or Q.
I would be a little reluctant when using variables in scripts, but it isn't quite necessary. Because $did(37) is a flat button you can use the prefix of .state after the $did(37) and an $iif to really make that part and similar parts shorter.
So the code block in your script can be rewritten as:

if ($did == 37) { did -a $dname 1 $iif($did($v2).state == 1,Q,q) }
  • a mere one line. If $did(37).state is equal to 1, meaning that it is clicked flat, then return this action (Q), if not, return (q). Also, because it is impossible to click on different parts of the dialog at the same time, you don't need all those 'halts'

For your on dialog do one if statement then elseif so make it faster.
Good work for a first dialog btw
