The basis for this script is fairly simple. If somebody calls a nick added in the script, you will be notified. It will display the message said, the user who highlighed you, at what time, in what channel, and if it's on a different network than the active one then that network as well. It will also be sent to @window.
Heh, thanks FordLawnmower ;)
As far as it being too long, that's because there are several dialogs in it, to customize it to a degree of comfort, as opposed to just go with what I say is good. It also has and shows logs, exception list, and the like. The main reason for the length are the three dialogs, while the script itself is rather short.
Well that's just the official network/channel of AV2, which is the mIRC addon I made and the PM blocker was part of it. As far as it being a Rizon based snippet, I don't think it matters because mIRC handles queries, and on open events for that matter, the same regardless of the network or server. If you still think I stole/ripped this, feel free to contact me on Rizon under Adorable.
This is a PM/Query Blocker I made for my own mIRC theme, similar to NNS and UPP. It's not the best work, but it's functional and easy to edit, partially why the code looks the way it does. I might edit this a bit in the future, but so far all of the testers have no complaints about it. It triggers when somebody opens up a query (a PM window). It'll have the option to accept or reject the message,..
Well it's easier to edit if the remotes and the alaises were in separate places. Plus the prefixing would be incredibly tedious and rather useless. It also allows more customization because it allows people to add their own modules in the proper section, and it'd provide a backbone in case one is needed.
As for WereWolf being spelled improperly, where I'm from the spelling is with a, as opposed to the e. Much like color versus colour, though seemingly WareWolf isn't quite as common as WereWolf, but I think my point has gotten through regardless.
Well seeing how Priest has been helped, I figured I'd post something related to the general bot.
I've updated both the aliases and remotes for the bot to make it slightly more efficient. It also includes several bugs fixes and a couple glitches removed, as well as new commands such as the !sideswon (which shows the number of times each sides won) and !dur (shows the duration of the game).
Hmmm, winni2 two questions for you there: when does it display that error message, and did you load the remotes? Because there's an on load event, which would set all the variables so the bot would join all of the proper channels. If you provide a bit more detail, then I'll gladly help you out and fix the code if need be.
Intro: This is a remake of the very first version of a Mafia game I ran, and is considered to be a demo bot of the one ran on #Mafia on SwiftIRC. The code has been simplified for those who can't script too well, so it's easily adjustable, but at the same time I made it slightly more efficient. I've had two friends help me with various bits and pieces because at 3 AM I sometimes lose the ability to..
