I want to hide and show an image in a fancy way when a button is clicked.

I think I will use something similar to splines, though. http://sol.gfxile.net/interpolation/index.html#c8 is the closest to what I was looking for (cyan circle).

It is for Java.

I should learn jQuery someday, though.
