SLS 3D PRINTING | SLS 3D PRINTING SERVICE
Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, lowers costs, saves time, and transcends the limits of fabrication processes for product development. From concept models and functional prototypes in rapid prototyping to jigs, fixtures, or even end-use parts in manufacturing, 3D printing technologies offer versatile solutions in a wide variety of applications.
Over the last few years, high-resolution 3D printers have become more affordable, easier to use, and more reliable. As a result, 3D printing technology is now accessible to more businesses, but choosing between the various competing 3D printing solutions can be difficult.
We manufacture your custom parts according to strict manufacturing standards and ensure all parts are according to Locanam standards.
After printing, parts are bead-blasted and then air-blasted to get rid of the excess powder on the surface.
Additional post-processing can be done to improve the part’s appearance, such as dyeing, vapor smoothing, or tumbling.

FDM 3D PRINTING
Fused deposition modelling (FDM), also known as the material extrusion additive manufacturing technique, utilizes polymers as the raw material (filament). The filament is usually heated to a molten state and then extruded through the nozzle of the machine (3D printer). The nozzle head can move in three degrees of freedom (DoF) to deposit the extruded polymer on the build plate as per the G-code instructions. As shown, the filament is continuously fed through the extruder and nozzle of the machine via the two rollers rotating in opposite directions.
SLS 3D Printing what is sls 3d printing SLS 3D printing offers several advantages, such as the ability to produce complex geometries, functional prototypes, and end-use parts without the need for support structures. It also supports a wide range of materials, including nylon, metals, ceramics, and more. However, it can be relatively expensive and is typically used for industrial applications where..
